Hi, I’m Andy, the owner and main engineer and trainer at Northern Safety & Security Ltd. I started as an Electronics Engineer working for my Dad in 1990. Since then, I have worked in the Maritime and Offshore Industry as well as the Automotive Industry installing, designing and commissioning production line systems.

After a return to the Offshore Industry designing Fire & Gas Detection and CCTV systems for rigs in the North Sea, I started my own company in 2013 then converting the company to permanent land-based security installations of burglar alarms, CCTV, intercoms and more.

I employed my son, trained him and he successfully completed his FESS apprenticeship.
